Field of Flavours at the cricket

If you’re like us here at The Delivery and good food is your prerogative, then we think you may just rejoice (or start salivating) at the news we’re about to tell you!

You can now get your fix of gourmet street style food at the Field of Flavours event, happening during the Victoria Bitter One Day International (ODI) Cricket Series. Perth has already played host to the new food festival concept, and now it's Melbourne and Sydney's turn to turn on the flavours.

The Field of Flavours event has been created to encourage sport lovers to experiece a cultural food infusion and it's a concept also not offered at many other sporting events.

The Festival of Flavours is also open to people who don't have an actual match ticket, meaning if you just want come and be part of the atmosphere outside of the stadium and enjoy some gourmet street food and entertainment, then you jolly well can!

Those attending will be able tempt the palate (now we're getting foodie) with a range of options including Indian and Vietnamese, and join in the cultural festivities including music and dance performances from GoEnt. International performers; Saffron Groove, Siyer, Rhythm Mania, plus many more.

Acclaimed Chef, restaurateur, author, and TV presenter (yep.. he's a busy guy),  Peter Kuruvita, is the Field of Flavours Ambassador and will be on deck to to make sure fans make the most of his food knowledge. The TV host of My Sri Lanka, Island Feast and Mexican Fiesta on SBS TV says, “fans are often quite limited in their food options at major sporting events, so to offer something new and increase range of choice is really exciting.”
