There's something about getting a group of your best mates together and heading for a night out that always seem to get us excited here at The Delivery. An excuse to possibly dress up or dress down, leave the kids/boyfriends/parents/dogs/guinea pigs at home, and head out for some laughs with your friends.
So if you're overdue for a catch up and planning on doing things a little differently for your next night out, why not head to a Big Bash League game? Think ripping entertainment, fireworks, high energy cricket games, bars, hang out lounges and amazing crowd moments. Also Big Bash games usually span for only a few hours so you can always hit the town (or retire early) if you choose to do so.
So popular has the Big Bash League become for a social night out, that due to popular demand the Sydney Sixers held an annual Girls Night Out event over the weekend. Crowds flocked in their thousands and ladies were treated to massages, champagne, beauty treatments, entertainment and more.
There were also reports that Ryan Gosling was in attendance. Upon closer inspection it turns out it may or may not have been a wax version of the great man himself. Sometimes life can be tough.
The thing about the Big Bash League, is that you don't have to be a die hard fan to enjoy it, or even know all of the rules. You see it's about soaking up the atmosphere and just having an absolute riot with your friends.
So before you decide the book that ritzy overpriced restaurant, or the same cafe that serves you up mediocre coffee for your next catch up. Why not test out the theory of heading for a great night out with your friends to a Big Bash game, and definitely pencil in the Sydney Sixers Girl's Night Out event for next year!
Also check out some social snaps from those that headed to the event over the weekend.
